Last Thursday I went with Lora to the river front to show her how to use her camera. At least some what. Part way through she told me I had to bring out my camera so she didn’t feel like such a dork . These are the results.
I think the river front is a little surreal in a way. One side lined with an industrial park and the other with a people park. The park itself is really good looking but because of the river it stinks alot. Further the art work is sometimes bizzare.
These are quick edits but I added strange colorings that will hopefully add to the nightmarish quality of the bizzare art work. Some I left as-is.
The picture of Joe Jackson at the end is just an added bonus. It was taken with my homemade ring flash and that makes him a Maxim kittie.
So an couple other rediscovered photos. Well the one of Joe Jackson in front of the TV is one of my all favorites because it goes with one of my favorite stories. After watching his TV program, and he watched most of it, he became really excited and started stalking us in the apartment. He really enjoyed watching the lions run and kill gazelles.
This picture didn’t turn out the way I had hoped. Not enough light and I was busy messing around with the camera’s setting to get a good picture while keeping an eye on the wild beast.
But I guess it is kind of menacing with it’s big shadow.
Since the tiny version doesn’t make it menacing enough here is the Full size view of the spider and here is annother.
Joe Jackson finished like his billionth photosession. This time, him and the new pink chair. He has claimed it as his own, infact he rarely leave it; he is in love with his chair.
More muted colors then I usually do, I think I will start using muted colors for awhile. I tend to over do the saturated color stuff.
Last month while playing around with one of my lens’ I took some of Joe Jackson. Here he is doing what Joe Jackson does best, sitting there looking pretty for the camera. I sometimes wonder what goes through his mind as I take the photos and the flashes are going off and what not. It’s probably something along the lines of “Why does this jackass do this all the time?”
It’s amazingly hard to take a bad picture of him though.
